Aside for the classic 90s colorways, Both the “Grape” and “Laney” Air Jordan 5s are original releases from the 2000s and last seen back in 2013.
While there wasn’t any actual inspiration behind the debut of the Air Jordan 5 Grape , the colorway would go on to become an instant classic. This Air Jordan 5 comes dressed in a White, Grape Ice, Black and New Emerald color combination which will have a similar look and feel as the iconic ‘Grape’ Air Jordan 5. Although images have yet to leak, they are expected to also have a predominate White upper with accents of Grape Ice, Black and New Emerald. Finishing the look is a translucent outsole.
Inspired by Michael Jordan’s high school, the “Laney” Air Jordan 5 features a White leather upper highlighted with Royal Blue and Yellow accents as a nod to Emsley A. Laney High School.
