Single row cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings. The rollers are guided by the two ribs of bearing rings. The bearings with cage are units comprising solid inner and outer ring together with cylindrical roller and cage assemblies. Therefore, these bearings are easy to be mounted and dismounted, especially where the load conditions are such that interference fits are required for both rings.
Single row cylindrical roller bearings are commonly used to carry radial load and, due to the line contact of the rollers and raceways, are suitable for higher radial loading capacity and good impact resistance than radial ball bearings with same dimensions, but they can ‘t accommodate axial loads.
1.Improved seal: Contact seal increases resistance to entry of water or foreign substances.
2.High load capacity: When used as a sheave bearings, radial and axial load capacities are increased
3.Corrosion resistance: Phosphate surface treatment improves resistance to rust.
4.Easy to apply grease: Holes provided on inner ring facilitate grease replenishment, even while the bearing is mounted.
5.Fewer surrounding parts: With snap rings for the outer ring, fewer parts are required around the bearing for a more cost-effective sheave.1.Improved seal: Contact seal increases resistance to entry of water or foreign substances.
